UN EJEMPLO DE LOS USOS Y COSTUMBRES FUNERARIAS DE LA CÓRDOBA ROMANA A TRAVÉS DE UN CONJUNTO DE TUMBAS DE LA NECRÓPOLIS DE LA AVENIDA DEL CORREGIDOR.

Resumen

Con motivo de la instalación de un colector de aguas residuales en la Avenida del Corregidor se ha documentado una parte de la necrópolis suroccidental de la Colonia Patricia. Entre inhumaciones y cremaciones se exhumaron un total de 75 enterramientos, de los que hemos querido presentar una pequeña muestra, en virtud de la importancia e información que aportan sobre costumbres funerarias de época romana en la ciudad.

Abstract

For the reason to install a woste water’s sewer in the Corregidor Avenue, an area in the southwestern cementery of the Colonia Patricia has been documented. Has been exhumed seventy five buries between heartless and crematories. We have wanted to present some of these, according to the importance and the information that they contribute about the undertaker’s costums in the Roman days in the city.
