Resumen

En este artículo, analizamos la figura de las Supervisiones Arqueológicas en la ciudad de Córdoba, así como la eficacia de
este tipo de intervenciones arqueológicas en el marco de la protección del Patrimonio Arqueológico y su implicación en el desarrollo urbanístico de la ciudad. Las continuas y valiosas aportaciones que las Supervisiones Arqueológicas han proporcionado a la investigación en la ciudad en los últimos años, nos llevan a considerar las un instrumento de vital importancia en el desarrollo del proyecto cordobés de Arqueología Urbana.

Abstract

In this article, we analyze the figure of the so called Archaeological Supervisions in the city of Cordoba, as well as the efficiency of this type of archaeological interventions in the setting of the protection of the Archaeological Heritage and his implication in the urban development of the city. The continuous and valuable contributions that the Archaeological Supervisions have provided to the investigation in the city in last years, they lead us to consider them an instrument of vital importance in the development of the Urban Archaeology Project in Cordoba.
