Resumen

Análisis arqueológico de una pieza descontextualizada, que no procede de una excavación, sino que está depositada en el Museo Pilarista de Zaragoza. A pesar de haber sido clasificada como obra árabe del siglo XI, se mantiene que, aunque hay en ella algunos elementos propios de las artes industriales del mundo islámico, prima lo bizantino. Se encuadra dentro del mundo suritálico, en el que durante los siglos XII-XIII, se reciben influencias romano-orientales e islámicas.

Abstract

Archaeological analysis of an object without context, which does not come from an excavation, but is kept in the Museo Pilarista of Zaragoza. Though it has been clasified as an Arabic production from the 11th Century, it is stated that, in spite of the fact that some of its features are typical of Islamic industrial arts, the Byzantine influences outweigh. It fits into the South-Italic world, in which during the 12-13* Centuries, Román-Oriental and Islamic arts gather together.
