LOS CEMENTERIOS ISLÁMICOS DE QURTUBA

En este artículo se exponen los resultados del estudio realizado para nuestra Memoria de Licenciatura, en la cual se analizan un total de 442 tumbas distribuidas en doce solares de la ciudad, estableciéndose unas características generales en relación a su localización, planimetría, tipología de las sepulturas, orientación, posición de los restos óseos, etc. La revisión de las fuentes escritas nos ayuda en la identificación de algunas de estas maqabir, aportando datos interesantes concernientes a la identidad de los individuos allí enterrados y a la cronología de las sepulturas.
The results of the research are exposed into which there are analyzed 442 tombs, situated in twelve different sites of the city. Then, general characteristics were established such as location, orientation, type of grave, position of the bone ... The source texts help us in the identifícation of several of these cemeteries, adding new interesting data in relation to the identity of the individual there buried and to the chronology of the grave.
