SIGILLATAS AFRICANAS Y OTRAS CERÁMICAS DE MESA TARDÍAS
DE LA VILLA ROMANA DE EL RUEDO

Resumen

Analizamos en este artículo. la cerámica de mesa tardía documentada en la villa romana de El Ruedo. Constituye un grupo poco numeroso en el que predomina la cerámica de importación norteafricana, algunos de cuyos ejemplares comienzan a llegar a la villa hacia mediados del s.II. El período de mayor importación es el comprendido entre la segunda mitad del s. IV y la primera del s.V, cuando las africanas D comparten mercado con las producciones de un taller de sigillatas hispánicas tardías.

Summary

In this paper it is analized the late fine tableware pottery documented in the roman villa of El Ruedo. It is a small ensemble with predomination of north african pottery. This pottery begins to arrive around the half of second century wiht only same pieces. The main period of importation is include between the second half of the fourth century and the first half of five century, when there are also sigillata hispánica tardía.
